Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Support Engineer with a strong background in Java backend development with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a background in debugging applications developed specifically with Spring Boot, SQL, Kafka, and API integrations. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to work in a night shift schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot logs to fix or escalate to the L3 developer if there are any errors/issues.
  • Provide technical support for backend systems developed using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, including software bugs, configuration issues
  • Work with Customer support team and resolve issues
  • Monitor/Manage Kafka for real-time data processing and messaging.
  • Troubleshoot SQL/ NoSQL Data issues
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.

requirements

  • Along with previous L2 support, L3 support knowledge or experience and 1 or 2 years of Java development are mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in SQL and NOSQL database design/management.
  • Experience with Kafka for data streaming and messaging.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
