Experience - 1 to 2 Years

These positions will require working in shifts to cater US timings. Shifts may rotate weekly or fortnightly as

per need or team dynamics. A likely good match would be who is already working shifts.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor site reliability and performance using existing monitoring systems. Improving monitoring for better efficiency.
  • Fix/troubleshoot site down issues and prepare RCA
  • Participate in 24x7 rotation and actively work on daily operation tasks.
  • Scale ec2 and kubernetes based infra according to the traffic pattern
  • Continuously improve the quality of our infrastructure
  • Document system design and procedures for the production incidents
  • Working with DevOps in improving automation tools/Terraform state / Ansible playbooks
  • You will be responsible for the application and all aspects of it in production including the user experience
  • Work reciprocally with developers in supporting new features, services, releases, and become an authority in our services

requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience in public cloud like AWS / Google cloud / Azure
  • Experience with Kubernetes and helm
  • Experience with log sniffer tools like ELK/Graylog
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, mostly around kubernetes ecosystem
  • Experience with monitoring systems like Newrelic, DataDog, Coralogix, Zabbix , Prometheus & AWS cloud watch
  • Similar past industry experience with 24x7 monitoring production environment with Kubernetes and Linux majorly.
