My many years in customer service have discouraged me from writing reviews so I never do, however I want everyone to see my experience and be forewarned before renting from this company and depot. I booked a camper van in Perth (I live in Sydney), hoping to go on a holiday in WA. The borders shut and I was unable to get there. I booked and tried to cancel within 48 hours. I was told I could get a refund on the 23rd of December and responded that day that I would like to proceed with the refund and haven’t heard a thing from the “admin team” since. Our experience with wicked campers was terrible words don't even describe the service we received. We didn't get the hire car were expecting and was a delay in picking up the car. The car was dirty and we couldn't even see out the window to safely drive when we flagged this with the check in lady she stated it wasn't her problem. The camping gear was filthy and broken. Plus I am still awaiting for the return of my bond it has been over a month STAY AWAY from this company
Customer service shocking. I booked in a pick up for 10am and didn't get seen until 11.20am as they just had a bunch of other people waiting and one rep. This is after calling and emailing with questions about the van and nobody being able to answer my simple questions. Van fully stinks, wiper blade is broken (in Queensland's wet season), van revs way way too high and barely makes it up hills. Tap on sink in kitchenette doesn't work. No curtains. I don’t know where to begin on how angry I am with the van I had, the company and the customer service Firstly I was expecting a Toyota Tarrago (as quoted) not a Suzuki Van! This Van is a 1.6L 4cyl, so on the highway doing 100-110km the vans rpm is at 4000! Which chews through petrol! That’s why I should’ve gotten a tarrago! The guy was okay but the car was a lot worse than it looked. Unless you are a mechanic, do not buy from these people. I have already spent over 2,000 dollars in repairs and there will be more. Internally and externally the car was mistreated and they have not been serviced by a legitimate dealer. I already re-serviced as it was not trustworthy. Cancelled our booking on day that we were due to collect the car. We were told the vehicle had been in a crash when in fact the dealer had closed down. Terrible email and phone service.
I booked my van through camplify, unaware that it was a wicked van. Customer service in Perth was terrible. The van was dirty inside and out and it was completely out of fuel. Wiper blades, seat belt and back door not working properly. Their email response to my complaint called these things 'minor inconveniences' and 'luxuries'!
Customer service is horrendous. You can only contact via email for any issues and they don't reply. the phone number they have is only for booking. I picked up a vehicle and prior to collection they said they were having some issues with the battery but it should be all okay now. I felt unnerved but didn't have much choice.
