I feel the need to reassure some people who might be in a similar situation to me. Maybe I was just lucky but hired a 2person mini camper which turned to be a car! That was my fault so I can’t blame wicked for that. Very hard to sleep in, even for 1 person; so make sure you book the correct vehicle for your trip. Having said that, I did over 2 & half thou K’s in 10 days going up & down steep hills. Myself and boyfriend hired a camper for a long weekend. Wicked has a lot of bad press for their offensive slogans but they do offer a lot of vans that are plain. We got a 2 person plain van for a good price, customer service was good.

Very easy to create a booking, reasonable daily cost for 4x4 with roof tent, picked up and dropped off in Darwin. Good vehicle, delivered clean. Vehicle was a year or two old and the pick up and drop off were easy. Friendly, professional staff. So: why not 5 stars? After 20 business days still waiting for the large bond ($5k) to be refunded. This is TOTALLY unacceptable. We have contacted Wicked Campers and been told they will get right onto it. Still waiting.

I purchased a van for hire in Dublin for 16 days before I saw all the horrible reviews online. Seeing all the reviews online after running my credit card I became extremely nervous about our trip. We are a family of 5 from Denmark and rented the new 4x4 Nissan with two tents on top for discovering Kakadu and Litchfield in 10 days. Good service the whole way, helpful staff, excellent car, and a great trip.

When we rented the van we carefully checked that everything was included and alright, we got new chairs and table and extra poles to the tent. The service both when renting, picking up and leaving the car was great! Thanks girls! There was AC both in the front and the back of the car and we got an automatic car

It was easy to create a booking. Excellent and friendly customer service. Shane explained all details about a car and the roof tent. I was traveling solo but never had any technical problems, all was well explained. The car was older mode,l but was in very good condition. I enjoyed my camping experience, thank you Wicked Campers.

My partner and I were recently driving around the North Island in a Premium camper. We loved it. Our camper was easy to drive with comfortable seats and a lot of room up the front. A lot of storage space was awesome too. I would definitely hire the same camper again.
