The time wasted was unprofessional, they damaged goods and stole/lost screws! It seems the hourly rate in my case was an incentive to go as slow as possible. For example over a hour for two people to pull apart a basic bed base and then even longer to assemble it again. The task was pre-booked but they brought no power drill. 6 months later I disassembled that same bed by myself in 30 minutes with no power drill & I found that over half of the screws were missing and there was substantial damage to the bed base. Worst Removalist, no respect for your belongings. They don’t deserve a one star…. I would rate them as the most pathetic company I’ve ever heard of. Ready movers Brisbane were engaged by Midcity our insurance repairers to put all our furniture into storage while repairs where done to our home following damage from cyclone Alfred. To say I’m disgusted and disappointed is an understatement, we are completely devastated. Epitome of bad service What should have been a half day job took all day as the removalists moved so slowly and lacked any logical movement of furniture. They did everything in stages rather than directly into the truck, hence leaving boxes unsupervised on the pavement which were stolen. A dresser was badly damaged and they lied to say that it was already damaged. Bad deliverer very bad service and regret of their faulty broken stuff and parcel
Damaged goods, destroyed floorboards, zero compensation. AVOID. They broke our bike, a sturdy desk chair & severely damaged our floorboards. Footprints over the boxes shows they walked all over our goods Was told I would be contacted about compensation and have heard nothing. Will be escalating this as I am significantly concerned about how disrespectful these removalists are with others belongings & they should not be in this business.

Horrible experience. I used already Movers to move the stuffs from Queensland to Sydney. First issue was unexpected delay, wouldn’t explain why they were delayed. Then, when the stuffs arrived, the stuffs (dental chair x2 and xray) arrived extremely damaged, unrepairable. I had an insurance so I tried to claim but they have never got back to me. They says they would, but not happened. My advice is, don’t use. They aren’t even going to cover for their broken stuffs via insurance.
Do not hire They were to be here at 7.30am to move lounge and dining furniture 11 km. At no stage did they contact me regarding delays or being late. They arrived at 4pm after I made numerous calls and texts. After the first 2 calls, the office would not answer. Rang the operations manager at 1.42pm and he did not answer the phone, but when I sent a text, answered immediately saying he would check. I sent 4 more texts and still no response. Ready to lie and steal your money more like it Contracted Ready Movers through Muval to do interstate move from QLD to VIC. Quoted for 1 weeks storage in QLD prior to transport as I was travelling before landing in VIC. Paid, removalists arrived on time and were polite and efficient. Thats where all positive interactions with this company ended. I called to request an extension on my storage in QLD, told that was fine, paid and signed the agreement. Not so Ready Movers I booked a move for Friday 2nd September with Ready Movers. In the past, I have always used Mini Movers and have never had a problem with them except they take a long time. The sales person who was very good at her job, spruiking how wonderful Ready Movers are, said, we don't do that. The day came and they were a no show.
