Definitely trust them for moves in Brisbane Clint and Trevor did my move from Highgate Hill to East Brisbane. They were friendly, honest and helpful, and full of good humour. I have used Ready Movers for a few moves now and will definitely be using them again.
No stress moving [Name Removed] came to pack up my house so I could move everything into storage for a few weeks prior to settlement on my new home. He knew exactly what he was doing, explained his methods and how he would mark each box, made it all look simple. By the end of a few hours he had the whole house packed, labelled, marked and ready to be carried out. [Name removed] explained that he would most likely be the person coming the next day for the move. I was very pleased about that.
Single mother Thank you to [names removed] for moving me from South Brisbane to the Northside. They made a already stressful situation pleasant by offering to assemble beds and ensuring all furniture and boxes were placed where needed. Fast, honest, reliable & stress-free moving! I had already had a few dodgy encounters with other moving companies. When I first spoke with Ready Movers I got honesty and patience with the many questions I asked. When it came to the move I was very impressed with the efficiency and care that the guys showed, not to mention their friendly, helpful attitudes. Excellent service We have just moved with ready movers and have had a great moving experience. We would recommend ready movers to anyone who is moving. The guys from ready movers worked really hard, quickly and safely, they even dismantled and reassembled our beds, thank you to Shaun and Sam who did a great job today! Reliable and professional
Do not use!!! You will be promised the world by the lovely Natasha. But you may find your furniture arrived unsecured and in pieces. Some of your items will go astray. Good luck trying to get the insurance you are entitled to. Complaint lodged with Office of Fair Trading. Don’t be fooled by the “we’ll contact you and rectify” comment by the company.
The time wasted was unprofessional, they damaged goods and stole/lost screws! It seems the hourly rate in my case was an incentive to go as slow as possible. For example over a hour for two people to pull apart a basic bed base and then even longer to assemble it again. The task was pre-booked but they brought no power drill. 6 months later I disassembled that same bed by myself in 30 minutes with no power drill & I found that over half of the screws were missing and there was substantial damage to the bed base. Worst Removalist, no respect for your belongings. They don’t deserve a one star…. I would rate them as the most pathetic company I’ve ever heard of. Ready movers Brisbane were engaged by Midcity our insurance repairers to put all our furniture into storage while repairs where done to our home following damage from cyclone Alfred. To say I’m disgusted and disappointed is an understatement, we are completely devastated. Epitome of bad service What should have been a half day job took all day as the removalists moved so slowly and lacked any logical movement of furniture. They did everything in stages rather than directly into the truck, hence leaving boxes unsupervised on the pavement which were stolen. A dresser was badly damaged and they lied to say that it was already damaged. Then they sent an unlicensed driver to drive our furniture to our new place which was picked up by the police as his driving was so bad. When we complained we were... read more
