Poor communication and unreliable. Moving staff are excellent, management and operations are shocking
Horrible and unprofessional experience, their communication was appalling. If my employer wasn’t paying for the relocation I would never use this company. This is the second time I’ve used this company and both were horrible - I was moving a small house with limited furniture and items. The distance from locations was 1 hour out of town. My one bedroom apartment took 4 hours to complete. The window they were meant to come was 12-1. They didn’t arrive until 2.30pm, and didn’t leave till 6.30pm. They took multiple breaks and would disappear for 10-15 mins between each run of boxes. I didn’t have many personal items. I’d packed all my clothes, and moved everything into one room for them. I was not happy at all , was late 4.5 hours to the job , I sat in my car this whole time waiting for them as I came from out of town to meet them which they new in advance . Started at 1pm and finished around 7.30pm , I have a storage shed 3 x 2 so not a huge amount of stuff to move to a 1 bedroom apartment . The price was beyond a joke $1650 and my glass for my table is missing . Would not recommend at all and will be telling everyone
The pre-packers for our move didn't speak English as their first language so communication with them was difficult. They didn't pack alot of items that they should have. So when it came to the uplift, the removalists were less than impressed that the job wasn't done satisfactorily. All liquids, whether opened or completely sealed weren't packed, nor were we notified of this prior to our removal taking place or during it. Do not use!!! You will be promised the world by the lovely Natasha. But you may find your furniture arrived unsecured and in pieces. Some of your items will go astray. Good luck trying to get the insurance you are entitled to. Complaint lodged with Office of Fair Trading. Don’t be fooled by the “we’ll contact you and rectify” comment by the company.
The time wasted was unprofessional, they damaged goods and stole/lost screws! It seems the hourly rate in my case was an incentive to go as slow as possible. For example over a hour for two people to pull apart a basic bed base and then even longer to assemble it again. The task was pre-booked but they brought no power drill. 6 months later I disassembled that same bed by myself in 30 minutes with no power drill & I found that over half of the screws were missing and there was substantial damage to the bed base. Worst Removalist, no respect for your belongings. They don’t deserve a one star…. I would rate them as the most pathetic company I’ve ever heard of. Ready movers Brisbane were engaged by Midcity our insurance repairers to put all our furniture into storage while repairs where done to our home following damage from cyclone Alfred. To say I’m disgusted and disappointed is an understatement, we are completely devastated. Epitome of bad service What should have been a half day job took all day as the removalists moved so slowly and lacked any logical movement of furniture. They did everything in stages rather than directly into the truck, hence leaving boxes unsupervised on the pavement which were stolen. A dresser was badly damaged and they lied to say that it was already damaged.
