After sales service I moved with Ready Movers on the 10th of March this year. With the very first item they took into our BRAND NEW house they damaged a wall. We are still waiting on them to fix it. They have tried passing the buck onto their contractor saying that he was unreliable. Inefficient and Expensive We moved a 2 bedroom apartment 3 blocks down the street. They charged us for 7 hours of moving and still hadn’t completed the job after an entire day (with my husband’s assistance). They charged us for 30 minutes of transport/fuel costs when they only took our stuff 3 blocks down the street! Our neighbours across the hall had their 2 bedroom unit moved 3 subrurbs away in 2 hours. Awful! Stay well away! [name removed] and [name removed] from this company are rude and inept...they damaged our $10,000 chest of drawers and don't seem to care..don't use this company under any circumstances!
Horrible!!! Don't Use Them. I am absolutely fuming. Everyday I find a new damage to a different piece of furniture. They just don't care or 2 people can't handle the weight of some furniture. I am so angry I can't even think of what to say. You can pay the same or even less from a much better company. We had a quote from Allied Pickfords for less. We went with Ready Removals because of the reviews on here.
Never again Agree, good staff, poor management. Arrived 3 1/2 hours late. Management had two contact phone numbers, no call after one hour past scheduled arrival time, tried to contact them twice Recordings both times.Third attempt successful. Excuses pathetic, virtual lies. Ignore emails, "lost in the post" excuses. Staff did good job under difficult circumstances, but would never use them again. Box went missing on a 3 km journey. How ? Good staff, poor management I'm updating from my previous review of a month ago. Every time I had Ready Movers do a move, or in my case last week where my (separated) wife (Caroline) engaged their services, the staff have been fantastic. On the job, they generally showed good care while getting stuff on the truck or offloading. My disappointment though is with management. Horrible experience I had a horrible experience with ready movers their guys rocked up looking drunk from the night before or on drugs. They were rude and took ages to do the job complaining the whole time. Later when we unpacked we realised the guys had stolen our alcohol out of one of our boxes. They also damaged our walls! absolutely appalling!!!!!
