Do not hire They were to be here at 7.30am to move lounge and dining furniture 11 km. At no stage did they contact me regarding delays or being late. They arrived at 4pm after I made numerous calls and texts. After the first 2 calls, the office would not answer. Ready to lie and steal your money more like it Contracted Ready Movers through Muval to do interstate move from QLD to VIC. Quoted for 1 weeks storage in QLD prior to transport as I was travelling before landing in VIC. Paid, removalists arrived on time and were polite and efficient. Not so Ready Movers I booked a move for Friday 2nd September with Ready Movers. In the past, I have always used Mini Movers and have never had a problem with them except they take a long time. The sales person who was very good at her job, spruiking how wonderful Ready Movers are, said, we don't do that. The day came and they were a no show. Damaged goods beyond belief After a consultation with Ready Movers and the discussion with [Name Removed], about the my antique and oil paintings, the lack of care and good furniture removal practice , has caused intensive damage. Have tried emailing no response. My only advise if you want your furniture destroyed use this company
Disappointing and Unprofessional They lost my TV and did nothing about it. I have phoned and emailed multiple times but still not compensated. They spent the first few days pretending to 'look' for it although they knew the box was empty when delivered so they didn't bother to bring it to me or make any kind of report. Over quoted - Wasted my time I requested a quote for a 4Bdrm house. Ready Movers quoted $11.6k for the move, after they verbally gave an estimate of approximately $3 to 4k on the phone. Subsequently went with another provider who quoted $3.6k for the same job. If Ready Movers did not want the job - they could have saved my time and said so upfront.
Delayed and missing item! One bedroom apartment moved from Brisbane to Melbourne. The delivery was late by 4 days, although we had specifically agreed on Monday 1/11 upon payment. I slept on the couch with nothing but minimal belongings from my suitcase. Serious concerns Cannot express my dissatisfaction more strongly. Would not recommend to anyone. Furniture damaged, not delivered on time - got a call on the day that it was supposed to arrive at 4pm to say that they couldn't do it that day, delivery too longer than expected (outside even their prescribed timelines) and had to pay for extra accommodation and buy a new washing machine because they damaged ours in transit. Can not trust Ready Movers Upon removing my belongings out of the property and into the truck there was damage to the paint on the wall caused by the removalists shifting a wardrobe. My items were late and when I did receive them there were a number of items that were damaged and one of my expensive items was missing. My wardrobe door which was originally locked was now unlocked and there was what appeared to be water damage to my wardrobe and damage to a designer dress.
