No stress moving [Name Removed] came to pack up my house so I could move everything into storage for a few weeks prior to settlement on my new home. He knew exactly what he was doing, explained his methods and how he would mark each box, made it all look simple. By the end of a few hours he had the whole house packed, labelled, marked and ready to be carried out. [Name removed] explained that he would most likely be the person coming the next day for the move. I was very pleased about that.
Single mother Thank you to [names removed] for moving me from South Brisbane to the Northside. They made a already stressful situation pleasant by offering to assemble beds and ensuring all furniture and boxes were placed where needed. Fast, honest, reliable & stress-free moving! I had already had a few dodgy encounters with other moving companies. When I first spoke with Ready Movers I got honesty and patience with the many questions I asked. When it came to the move I was very impressed with the efficiency and care that the guys showed, not to mention their friendly, helpful attitudes. Horrible and unprofessional experience, their communication was appalling. If my employer wasn’t paying for the relocation I would never use this company. This is the second time I’ve used this company and both were horrible - I was moving a small house with limited furniture and items. The distance from locations was 1 hour out of town. My one bedroom apartment took 4 hours to complete. The window they were meant to come was 12-1. They didn’t arrive until 2.30pm, and didn’t leave till 6.30pm. They took multiple breaks and would disappear for 10-15 mins between each run of boxes. I didn’t have many personal items. I’d packed all my clothes, and moved everything into one room for them. I was not happy at all , was late 4.5 hours to the job , I sat in my car this whole time waiting for them as I came from out of town to meet them which they new in advance . Started at 1pm and finished around 7.30pm , I have a storage shed 3 x 2 so not a huge amount of stuff to move to a 1 bedroom apartment . The price was beyond a joke $1650 and my glass for my table is missing . Would not recommend at all and will be telling everyone
The pre-packers for our move didn't speak English as their first language so communication with them was difficult. They didn't pack alot of items that they should have. So when it came to the uplift, the removalists were less than impressed that the job wasn't done satisfactorily. All liquids, whether opened or completely sealed weren't packed, nor were we notified of this prior to our removal taking place or during it. Do not use!!! You will be promised the world by the lovely Natasha. But you may find your furniture arrived unsecured and in pieces. Some of your items will go astray. Good luck trying to get the insurance you are entitled to. Complaint lodged with Office of Fair Trading. Don’t be fooled by the “we’ll contact you and rectify” comment by the company.
