Not Happy! A had an occasion requiring an emergency call out for a plumber on a Sunday. In a panic I went on line and found these guys and was told someone would be there within 4 hrs - plus advised of the call out fee of $250. The issue was a 10mm long nick in a presurised hot water pipe. The chap turned up in reasonable time and proceeded to advise me that he did not have the gear to fix this particular type of hose and fitting. Do not trust Wilco Plumbing. The work which was promised to fix did not exist, There was a blockage in the pipes just requiring blasting however told that pipes were colapsed & had to be replaced. Do not use this company.

over quoted and over priced We we were charged $300 for approx 40 minutes 'fault finding' to tell us that our hot water system did not work and needed replacing. The plumber left us with a quote (he tried to get our money there and then to get the 'good price' offered). Fortunately we did our homework the following day - every quote was over 50% more than what we were quoted from other companies. eg 16L rinnai and installation $3739 (do your research!) and Quantum 6 star for $2000 (which was the cheapest they offered). Do not call them Found them on Google, their ad specifically says free call out fee plus $79 off today (Saturday), I called in and was told the fee of $129 call out applies as its only Monday to Friday, although the add said today Saturday. First we can get someone between 2-4, than sorry 5-7 and the call out fee is now $189. No thank you.

Hi Tony we are sorry you feel this way. During our normal hours Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm the call out fee is $39 but waived if you proceed with the quote so it becomes a $0 call out fee. After hours and on weekends the call out fee's do increase depending on the time of day as we must schedule staff and cover their over time rates. Any voucher's you view online can be used as a discount off an accepted quote and job that is completed, but these voucher's only apply to completed jobs not as a discount from a call out fee. Awful. Don't call up. They are advertising $88 for block drain clearing, however they never informed me that this was the base price for hand plunging. When they came out, they charged me $39, just to tell me that a water flush which will cost $450 - which is 200+ more than other standard companies, doing the same job. I wouldn't mind paying for the $39, however, the woman on the phone only told me it was $35. I never got an official receipt.

Please note that all blockages are different depending on what exactly is causing the blockage and what equipment needs to be used to clear it. Blockages certainly do start at $88 as a base price. Should have Read reviews before engaging Wilco I have just experienced the less than 1 star service of Wilco Plumbing. I had them attend my property on 6th January 2016 due to ongoing hot water issues. I had already had [name removed] to the property. I was quoted $4000 to supply and fit a new gas HWS and install a cooktop I supplied. I questioned the plumber why so expensive and he advised he would contact his boss to see if he could get it cheaper. Can you give less then 1 star? These guys come out and saw my wife after our hot water service stopped walking. We were quoted $3,000 to do the job and when we got a 2nd quote for the exact same thing it was half the price at $1,575.00 Inc GST. They then called later to drop their price by $500.00 after my wife told them they were too expensive. To add insult to injury we are left with a $39.00 fee for the privilege of their quote.

Rectification Work I had some work done in August 2015 in relation to a blocked pipe in the kitchen for which I paid a call out fee and for the use of a water jet and a CCTV drain inspection. I later found that the pipe was leaking and, from the mould that was evident in the cupboards, probably has been since the August work was undertaken.
