Although it was cheaper than other renting companies I wouldn't recommend booking with them. Pick up location in Queenstown is 20min away from the airport (extra $35 per taxi), where we waited for 2h in a backyard to get our car! The car itself was ok, but the fuel tank empty and the person who signed us up had absolutely no clue what he was doing. He told us about discounts at booking.com, which don't exist and at the drop off we learned that we've received a wrong car, which was not covered by insurance at all! Luckily noth... read more

Terrible customer service, they don't care about what you have to say to them, takes weeks to get refunded bond. Car was already dirty and was made to clean it unless I wanted to pay hundreds of dollars.

Initially it was really simple and straightforward, and seemed to be a good price. Once you have chosen your vehicle and received the quote, you move on to the payment screen where there are hundreds of $ of extras - we paid $100 for the luxury of driving on a highway between Adelaide and port Lincoln, $285 for a one way fee because we dropped off in Melbourne (I can half agree with this, however there is a wicked camper base in Melbourne as well and the vehicle was rented out again from there, so it's just another source of... read more

You have 'no choice' of what's written on it. Don't hire them. Vehicles are getting damaged by people offended with their slogans. And you have to pay! Their tidy enough. But who wants to he parked up somewhere dark and have someone knocking on your door saying their offended (rightly so) with what's written on the van.

If you want the $0 Insurance Excess option or $15 Insurance Excess option, they charge a $100 "Processing Fee" which is NOT REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! This is their mandatory requirement for all rentals, of both cars & campers. Also, the minimum rental is 3x days. You cannot rent for just one day with them. It might be better to go to either another car rental company (Hertz, Budget) as it will be cheaper. I left them and went to Budget instead.

We got the so called "Premium 2 seater van." It was far from being Premium. I am not a tall guy but I did not fit in the bed. This van was far too small to be a camper. It was a premium van because it was only 1 year old. The mattress was super thin and super uncomfortable. These are two basic "essential" items which you must get right in a camper. I didn't expect much but these are 2 basic things which you must get right. There is a $100 bond processing fee which you don't get back when you have to leave a $3000 deposit fro... read more

I wouldn't hire with Wicked again. The car was in a very poor condition and subsequently fell apart while we were driving it (A seal fell out, the mud flap fell off and it leaked when it rained). It smelled horrible and the seats were so oily that it stained my clothes (from lack of proper cleaning). As a consequence, we couldn't fully relax, because we thought the car would just fall apart or be stolen. Also, it was not as cheap as it appeared. There was a bond processing fee of $100 (the insurance only covered head on coll... read more

Wicked Campers in Cairns was by far the greatest disappointment with travel that I have endured. The mini camper that was made to look much bigger than it actually was, was small and barely contained my legs. The owners were rude and shameless.

Hired a 5 seater van; $660 for 3 days. You would expect to get a mechanically sound and clean van for that price. But no, the car was filthy, covered in graffiti and broke down to the point that it had to be towed away for repairs. Little to no help was provided from the company... what ever you do, do not hire!
