At SOUMAH we are inspired by Italian life and specialize in northern Italian wine and food. From a winemaking perspective, we believe our terroir is similar to northern Italy, with short, dry, hot summers and cool nights throughout. Even the fog that descends upon the Valley in late summer is reminiscent of those lands. A hidden gem! Little understated winery with low key relaxing atmosphere, delicious wines and excellent pizzas and pastas.
RecommendedFantastic afternoon at Soumah, we were headed to another winery ( our favourite in the valley) but they were closed for a private function. Soumah was a wonderful find, the service is the best I have ever had! Food was delish and the wines were beautiful. The dessert wine we had with our dark chocolate tart was such a surprise too, not thick or cloying or overly sweet, it was a perfect match! We really enjoyed our lunch- wood fired pizza. Our only complaint was with our coffee & hot chocolate neither of which were hot; just luke warm. Beautiful setting will be back
I liked most of the wines - we tasted about six or so. Made a few purchases. Thanks for looking after me until my lift arrived!!
