I contacted Reactive on Sunday night to make a booking for a blocked drain. Received confirmation within an hour and had Kyle arriving at our place Monday morning around 8. He cleared the drain and informed us that the pipe was damaged by tree roots. He recommended relining the pipe to avoid extensive excavation , should the pipe get damaged to the point where clearing was no longer possible. Excellent Service Needed to fix a leak to the shower head wall connection and change over a shower head for a new one. Found these guys and requested their help. They responded quickly for appointment and no hassle in organising. Johan attended site and was friendly and professional. Great customer service provided by him and provided advice on all questions asked. Would recommend Reactive Plumbing and their team.

Warning: deceptive business practices and exorbitant $880/hr fees! I had a blocked sewer drain and they organised to come out a few days later in business hours. They have a part on their website that states: "We charge by the job, not the hour, helping you to make an informed choice by knowing the full pricing of any work before we begin. Plus, no matter how long the job ends up taking you still only pay the quoted price, helping you save." A couple of years ago I had this company put a new sink mixer in. I wanted a quality mixer the same as the one I already had which I paid over $300 + labour for about 20 years ago. The guy scrolled through all the options for me on his phone and I selected one which was $486. He said he would go and buy it and install it. I strongly recommend avoiding Reactive Plumbing. They severely overcharge for simple jobs and rely on inflated labour fees to make money. I was charged hundreds of dollars to replace a small part under my kitchen sink that costs less than $10 at Bunnings, and the “repair” actually made the leak worse. When I called them back, they refused to fix it under warranty, claiming the leak was coming from a different part. Reactive plumbing was very professional up until they quoted me a price. No thanks! The plumber said I needed this special part ($600) to comply and his labour would be $400 on top of that. Wow! I said what ‘bout replacing the valve in the tap, a very simple job taking a couple of minutes at most I thought. He said he could do a service of both bathroom basin taps at a cost of $300. DO NOT USE - this company has a business model of overcharge and up sell. Used them for very small electrical work. Engagement process was easy and quick. Booking process was professional. Workers arrived on time to quote. This was the end of a good experience. Before the quote was constructed they tried to up sell me their $99 VIP maintenance membership, which is simply a way for them to inspect your property overall and then come back and tell you that other things need work so they can over quote you again.
