No experience and lazy Never put the screws back on the lid of my external heater, technicians were rude, install was messy. Much better companies out there stay away. My gas line was also kinked

Dont buy from this company Evaporative Cooler and Ducted Heater pretend service. I would not expect your service person to say that they sat in their van for 45 minutes shuffling papers. Of course they would say they inspected the unit, when they did not. I built my home so I know exactly how old my ducted heating system is - certainly not 30 years old, it was a vacant block of land way back then, but it makes you feel better to write that, I wouldn't expect anything. else. BUYERS AND LOOKING FOR SERVICE - BEWARE

Hi Kim There was no service under taken at all, so we're unsure how it was a pretend service. Your faulty appliances were diagnosed and you didnt like the proposed solutions provided for both your heater and evap cooler. There isn't much more to it than that. As mentioned we had only charged the call out fee, not for any time spent as we felt it only fair due to the fact you did not allow us to repair the cooler and as you were made aware the heaters faulty component is no longer available.

Rude service While we had our heater repaired in good time, the service tech was just plain rude and clearly didn't want to be there. I will not go to these guys again as I would prefer to pay more or wait longer for some manners.

"Would Not Recommend Darebin Gas To Anybody" - They Don't Even Deserve 1 Star. LOST MY BUSINESS Called Darebin Gas three weeks ago for a clicking heater controller. Was told there was nothing wrong with the controller, i would be wasting my money changing it and that it was normal for it to click. I advised that the clicking noise was much louder than winter last year and that it should not click 6 times in 5 minutes BUT it was not happening all the time. Very bad & poor experience, exhorbitant costs --never ever use them If I can give darebin gas less than 1 star I would gladly do so. They do not even deserve a 1 star from me. I booked them to look at my breeze air evaporative cooling unit as it was not working. Their technitian [name removed] came at 12.05 pm & was on our roof for not more than 32 mins. Poor servicing I booked a service for my evap cooler with Darebin Gas. When booking I stated that it was noisy on low settings. After the service the tech told me the reason the cooler was noisy was due to its age and the parts not working as smoothly as they once did. The next day after the service I went on the roof to inspect the cooler as it was still very noisy. I found the issue was the fan was rubbing against its cowling. Incredibly poor service and product - DO NOT USE DAREBIN GAS Darebin Gas came out to replace our ducts (for $600) and two months later we were faced with the same problem (collapsed ducts). They came out again and said this time it was due to cats damaging the ducts and wanted to charge an extra $300. Poor service/high cost/no positive outcome Technician attended & advised of SIMPLE fix to our problem AFTER having spent sufficient time on the job to then charge the next increment. I would have hoped experienced technicians to look for the quick/common troubleshooting first, not last to keep householder costs to a minimum.
