At SOUMAH we are inspired by Italian life and specialize in northern Italian wine and food. From a winemaking perspective, we believe our terroir is similar to northern Italy, with short, dry, hot summers and cool nights throughout. Even the fog that descends upon the Valley in late summer is reminiscent of those lands. over priced. got charged for a cheese platter that said it was $20 but got charged $40+ service was ok. when called said they had no places but outside they had it all free. disappointed
Recommend the wines, but not the services of restaurant, we had a prawns entree dishes that we found one long hair on the plate, the lady just toke the half prawn away without replacing which is not eaten, but neither we have been given a discount a even a coffee to compensated..I may not need but just feel customer service is not important to them. Went here today for our birthdays. Great views and server was knowledgeable. Just a bit disappointed, we arrived at mid day and ordered straight up for a bottle of wine(which was very good). Our food order wasn't taken till 15mins later, a table of 4 arrrived 15 mins after us and their order was taken first. When our orders were taken we were informed that they just sold out of lamb ( didnt even mentioned at the start that they dont have it). Good quality price on the wines. My favorites are 2015 cabernet soumah and the Ai Fiori rose. Still, avoid the 12$ cabernet it is not drinkable. It is a great place but I need to give a poor review because of the guy at the tasting who looks like he hates his job and hates people. The worst service I ever had at a tasting.
