It is an old fashioned Australian country hotel with facilities down the hall. No en-suite facilities, except the wash-basin A rather retro experience in an old-fashioned country hotel

No sleep due to noise of people walking around upstairs and banging doors throughout the night. Males using female bathroom

stay from hell well where shall I start. There was tea, coffee and cups no kettle no bar fridge to put a drink in. The new furnished bathroom was being used by the workman there which was specifically labeled women’s . My 8 year old son was showering and the water just shut off mid shower. was woken up at 4.30 by workers outside. It was hell, and it was hard to give a positive comment but alas I did. Fair There are some construction workers who live there and without any respect, slammed doors at 4 am morning and make a bad mess in toilet. Noting just was cheap

only spent 1 night so ok but could not stay in that room any longer very old and run down. Room was tiny. close to everything. Friendly staff

Disappointing Was a bit old and didnt look clean. Kettle gave us orange water and took ages to get hot water in the shower...but fair enough it is the middle.of.winter. lots of old, or broken hooks that could be easily.fixed. Shared bathrooms weren't very nice

loved Mudgee but would stay elsewhere next time noise from cleaning staff at an unexceptional hour of the morning noise - not from the patrons but the staff cleaning vacuuming carpets, emptying bottles, moving furniture at 6am - not my idea of a relaxing holiday.
