We use the pool regularly. It's a real pain cleaning the filters and uses so much water. Not sure I'd go with self cleaning again. We had a bad experience from the start. They did the measurements wrong which had repercussions for us financially (building retaining walls etc), then no-one oversaw to pool going in. The concrete around the edge was sloping towards the retaining wall so all of the water pooled there. Too many issues to mention.
First problem, pool was not installed straight. It was 15cm out at one end. The removal and replacing of the pool led to a delay in our building plans, including a crane that got bogged cracking our new sewer pipes. The pool leaks water and although we have kept records, Compass keeps blaming it on evaporation. We are losing at least an inch of water overnight with the cover on. I have contacted this company via email twice in the last 2 weeks requesting that a representative contact me about arranging a site inspection for a new pool. At this stage, I have not heard a thing from the company. If that is how they treat potential clients, how do they stay in business?

Whilst its no excuse especially after 2 weeks, with the heat we have been having nationally, most dealerships have a major backlog of enquiries.
Great pool and the cleaning system in one of the best. Can’t fault it. But that is where it stops. Certainly no follow up when you phone. You have no choice but to leave a message with the answer service they take your name and number and say that a service person will return your call. Don’t hold your breath. So yes great product but once they have your final payment don’t expect any help from them. I was determined to have a Compass Pool and did not seek any other competitors quotation. As we are building a new house, I corresponded with Compass Pools over 12 months, during which time I stupidly signed a SPASA pool contract for $48,107 to install my pool. Well this is the first bad review I've ever posted. Compass Pools signed me up for a pool last August and when I asked for a completion date from Russell Fagan he was very reluctant to give me a date but assured me he would meet the deadline of 1st week of December . Our dealings with Compass Pools Melbourne have been less than ideal. The pool was positioned incorrectly initially and when this was pointed out the workmen became aggressive towards my wife. The positioning of the pool was eventually sorted when one of the owners of the company visited the site but because it had to be lifted and replaced there are areas where the backfill has been incorrectly done and there are air pockets behind the pool shell. Our pool is 7 years old and is not cleaning the whole pool. We have not been able to find someone to service/repair the cleaning system

Had a Compass pool installed by a reputable local installer. Pool developed cracks after just one year. Repair was undertaken by Compass, but cracks have returned. The Compass website talks up the strength of their pools and so on which is difficult to accept. We will be seeking legal advice, unfortunately. Both wife and I agree if we had our time again we definitely would not have installed a pool at all and just stuck to the public pool, or maybe just bought a small above ground splash pool.
