CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL POSTED BY BUSINESS Thank you to Taylor and Jessie for moving me from Oxley to Manly recently. They are great guys and did a wonderful job. Nothing was too hard - it was amazing to see how they managed my piano - made it look so easy, even when negotiating very narrow stairs at front door and VERY limited turning space. The whole move went so smoothly. Thanks a lot Scotty's.
If you are on the budget, my advice is do it yourself. Used this service for the third and last time. Very slow
Hit and miss. We have used Scotty's the Movers twice now. The first time, 2015 - the best move and experience we have ever had with moving. The two guys helping were great - it felt like they were our friends helping us move.. like we had known them for ages. They took such great care of itmes - and the walls! Agree with gen480 and chio11. Totally unprofessional, a disaster! Same as chio11, took forever to load the truck then at 5pm said they'd have to unload it on the street because the truck was booked for the next day! Took an extra half day and had to pay two extra staff, power tools for unscrewing things etc were not charged so they it manually & slowly; left many things behind despite reminders; like experiencing home invasion not removals!

Hello, as you have made public your feelings it is appropriate I post a summary of the email already sent to you. You were ask to buy more boxes because you were not prepacked to a suitable standard. Extra men were sent to help at a discounted rate. The fact the prepack was not done to a suitable standard was the reason for the length of the job. We did not unload you on the street but in fact gave away one of our jobs for the next day to enable us to keep you goods on the truck even though we wanted to unload same day. It w... read more
Bad customer service. Loaded half of our stuff then told us he couldn't finish until next week because someone else had needed the truck. When I questioned the management about what was going wrong he told me they didn't need any attitude and that it's just "the business." hung up on me and canceled the truck and left me to find new movers (on our moving day) without any notice. Very stressful.

We have moved house many times. This is the single worst removalist we have ever used. It is almost inconceivable how many things were stuffed up, damaged, got wrong et c etc etc........and then denied all of it and would not return our calls. First of all we booked a large truck and 3 staff.......we got the medium truck and 2 staff. WE called the management who said that it would not be any difference in price in the end.....they disagreed and we ended up paying more than $600 more than originally quoted. Terrible removalist. By far the worst I have ever used. I got a completely different service.........this company is obviously hit and miss..........I won't be taking the risk with them ever again Myriad mistakes and problems with the move Not interested at all in trying to fix the problems or compensate Never ever again
