We gave it a second go Not sure why though The service was non existent
The service was terrible. There was no acknowledgement or welcome. The seat needed cleaning. We tried to order at the counter and were told they would take the order at the table. We waited for a considerable time for table service and in the end we left for Diggies at the Blowhole where the service and food was great. Sorry Penny Whistlers we won’t be back as this was the second occasion that involved very poor service.

Hi Sylvia. I was told about you, and particularly the gentleman you dined with last night. There is no excuse for him verbally abusing our staff member the way he did. He even came back after leaving to have another crack and was told if he didn’t leave we’d call security. I spoke to the other staff that were on site last night, and all of them told me he was totally out of line, all because you were the last ones to leave and didn’t like that the lights had been turned up. We've dropped in twice now and both times we've found the girls on the counter to be abrupt, to the point of rude when asked anything. Coffee and muffin were delicious but i can't cope with the crusty attitude so early in the morning. 8am on a Sunday is too early to be disinterested when asked about the menu . Takeaway with no covering paper bags because 'we've run out'. Sad because the view is to die for.
Cafe food for very expensive price for New Year dinner
Room temperature water, ran out of fish so 2 of 3 of us couldn’t have their first choice meal. The service is terrible. Cafe closes at 4 but we’re turning people away at 2pm. We also waited a really long time for our meals.
we walked in with a big group and were told it was about 10 to 20 minutes wait, which was fine. we went outside to decide what we would like to do, went back in to leave our name and number to get a call back to come when tables were ready for us. the waitress behind the counter rolled her eyes at one point while we were deciding what to do. this was a little off putting, but we gave benefit of Doubt and chose to come back to have breakfast. when we got the call and came back, we were sat down and about 2 minutes later we ... read more
