Staff really looked after mum as she was very nervous. Mum immediately told me that she would like the spa treatment to be a regular activity. The environment was relaxed and caring. I didn’t like the “up sell” txt the day before it sounded like you had no idea what we had booked in for which soured my (the carer) experience.

The massage was lovely - different to the Thai massage that I’m used to but it was still nice and relaxing. The lady who gave me the massage was very nice and friendly and was mindful of all the things that were important (privacy when undressing / dressing and asking me if the massage was firm enough or not etc.

The room felt unclean in regards to cobwebs, smudges on windows and walls. The room was being set up while we were there waiting which made it seem rushed and disorganised such as furniture being moved between rooms etc. For the couples service, we were unable to book it online and there was no listed price on the website and no price was discussed prior to receiving the treatment which made the final bill a bit of a shock. The massage was wonderful and I did enjoy it once I had it. The automated confirmation system needs to be improved as twice it got my booking time wrong, and it is hard to confirm bookings on a Sunday which is when the automated system sends out the confirmation as the Spa does not open on a Sunday or Monday
