About this business
We’d love to say it took a series of high-level brainstorming sessions to come up with Australia’s most celebrated tour company, but the truth is it was all a whole lot simpler than that. Inspiration hit in the early 90s, when one canny Alice Springs local called Ken realised that travellers were flying into his hometown in droves, but didn’t have any real way of reaching Uluru (Ayers Rock) and beyond.

RecommendedHave just arrived in Broome at the end of the Perth to Broome Overalnd tour. Our tour guides, Tom and Lucy could not have provided a better experience. They were knowledgeable, fun and prepared the most amazing feasts every night of our 10 day trip. Can't recommend highly enough!
Just completed Adventure Tours Australia’s five day top end and Arnhem Land tour with Rick and Emma. It was fantastic! Rick’s knowledge and experience was brilliant and Emma also had a wealth of knowledge and endless enthusiasm. Arnhem Land and some of the other scheduled stops were currently closed (outside ATA’s control) but the alternatives were far more than adequate. Some actives were definitely challenging but that was a plus for me (I’m 66, did everything and had complete confidence in my guides.
Just finished the Perth to Broome trip with guides Tom & Lucy.They are so passionate about there work & provided delicious meals.This trip is terrific & well worth some long days of travelling.Thanks again Tom & Lucy
Highly recommend intrepid Perth to Broome. Swimming in gorges, beautiful sunsets, seeing Australian at its best. Tour guides Tom and Lucy went above and beyond to make your experience amazing. We had people from 6 countries and Aussies on tour and everyone felt safe and enjoyed each other’s company. Tom and Lucy made sure every person was looked after, re allergies, dietary requirements, and peoples abilities. Amazing holiday. Made great friends. Thank you Tom and Lucy
We had an absolute amazing time with Lucy and Tom on the 10 day trip from Perth to Broome. I have a lot of allergies and they both made me totally secure and safe with the triple checking of ingredients and ensuring there wasn’t any cross contamination throughout the trip. I travelled through the centre of Australia back in 2002. Had the best time ever. Such wonderful memories the best sleeping under the stars.

Spending three days in the outback with guide Cristy and host Beg definitely made my Christmas unforgettable! From the second the "Christmas bus" picked me up I felt their positive energy, simply amazing! Cristy is the best tour guide I have ever met, taking us save from Alice Springs to the Uluru and up the King's Canyon, while Beg made sure we'd have enough energy for the adventure out there.
