I got a blocked toilet pipe due to tree roots and to damaged earthenware pipes. The plumber asked me over the phone some questions about the problem. I gave my best accurate answers/descriptions and he gave me a very reasonable quote (I have regularly seen many invoices of this type of works for different properties.) over the phone.
