The trip was really interesting! The car itself was actually pretty good, although the built-in kitchen on the side wasn’t very practical. We also didn’t love the smell inside, but I guess there’s not much you can do about that haha. The man who handed over the car to us was super nice and answered all of our questions, which we really appreciated! One thing that should definitely be improved is the insulation for cold nights. Honestly such a good experience with Wicked Campers Hobart. Booking was easy, communication was amazing, and the staff were always easy to get a hold of if needed. The van was reliable and made travelling around Tasmania so much fun. Tasmania itself is such a beautiful place to explore, highly recommend doing a camper trip like this!

Managed to book a very last minute campervan for our New Zealand South Island trip which was great as most other vans had sold out! It was the cheapest option left and definitely wasn’t as fancy or comfortable as some other options (no bedding or curtains and pretty uncomfortable mattresses etc) but it got us around safely and was a reliable vehicle. Rented in Queenstown : easy to pick up ; always had answers to my questions through the Whatsapp number. Car is easy to drive and came clean.

Only place we found that rented to 19 year olds which helped when our car broke down. The person on the phone helped us book it and was so helpful. The van was good, we got the mystery machine which got us all the way around down south. It is an interestingly ran business but everything worked out. We had to go with the van as it was our only option, my friends also did this a couple months ago and they said they never got their bond back. Mine should be back in 4 days so I will be expecting the $1000 back then.

A couple months ago there was a large influx of bonds and an internal issue causing delays. We will be able to return your bond by our normal processes as that issue is now resolved :)

We had a wonderful adventure in our wicked camper! The team were able to find us a van at very short notice after our main trip was cancelled and everything about the pickup and dropoff was easy to understand, especially out of hours. The customer service we received was pretty great. Our van had character that's for sure, but we loved him, and did a great job at taking us from Sydney all the way to Brisbane. Do note that you need to provide your own bedding as we missed that and had to make a run to a store on the first day... read more

We had a great time in a Mitsubishi 4x4 van. The vehicle was well-equipped in every respect; our tip is to buy two pillows and a duvet cover.
