Get directionsI phone today. I was told I cannot pay to put down a feral cat that has been attacking my small dog and my chickens. Cats apparently are "free to roam" and destroy wildlife. I am disappointed that everyone washing their hands of this and feral cats run havoc. Since cats are free to roam, Am I allowed to catch this cat and dump it near a river so it can roam and kill native wildlife? what are the rules cause no one seems to know.
Business response:
Hi Sam, I'm sorry you felt we were unable to assist you. Unfortunately we are unable to euthanise feral cats for a number of reasons. As discussed while on the call, it is best that you have the cat scanned for a microchip. We can then confirm its possible identity. All uninjured animals must then be reported to your local council ranger. Please do not hesitate to call if you would like to discuss this matter further.
About 7 years ago we handed little Donkey to the doctors. She ate a puffer fish in Rushcutters Bay. In the car, her limbs went dead and as I handed her to the doc, her heart stopped beating. Fast forward 7 years, Donkey is 8,5, has lived in Hong Kong and Berlin. At the moment she’s jumping around on the rocks and the beach in Portugal. Her life was saved and I have no words to express my gratitude.

Another person in the consult room next door very upset by being left alone holding a sick dog and being told by a very rude blonde receptionist the nurses will attend when they are availabl... read more
Unfortunately I can't recommend this vet. Our cat has been very sick the last month and was initially treated here. We've since found out that it could be related to a recall of BFF catfood. When we found this out, we emailed to let them know to look out for symptoms in other patients, but a week later and we haven't even had a response. Other posts to this Facebook page have also alerted them of the recall, but no information has been passed on.
