I know it was in the paperwork that there is a $500 fee to pay for the searches but this was never communicated to me in any phone conversation that I had. You then auto upgrade people to a more expensive package if they don’t pay this on time. I think it is completely unfair to not verbally make someone aware that this will happen and that the fee needs to be paid. I am really upset by this and would not recommend Sunstate Conveyencing.

Avoid please! It was a tremendous amount of pain dealing with them, following are some issues we had with our transaction: 1. Lack of communication: Very hard to get hold of your solicitor. You will end up spending a lot of time in following up through emails, calls and sms. Their response times are very slow. (Apps Legal sms automated system is a joke.) 2. The Contract of Sale was subject to GST W/Holding obligations, but the election to apply the Margin Scheme was not included in the special conditions on Contract of Sale. This was not clarified by Megan Stone at the time of completing the contract when asked by the Real estate agent, an oversight by us all it seems.
