Went today to try this new cafe, they just opened last weekend, so we understand why wait 20 min for our breakfast, but ones we get our benedict, they look nice but no taste, the dish don't stay together, completely disappointed, I'm sorry but won't come back.
The atmosphere is lovely but the service is appalling! I understand that they have just opened and it will be a bit of trial and error, but it's just ridiculous. They really need to train the staff up so they actually know what they are doing, there's no one to greet you and find you a table (even though there is a sign saying please wait to be seated), there are no table numbers and the servers don't know where they are taking the food. Absolutely dreadful experience. Waited over 30 minutes for our coffees, and by the time half our food arrived 20 minutes later, it was completely wrong. No one seemed to be in charge or have the slightest clue what was going on. Felt sorry for the staff, as they seemed to lack any guidance. When we made a complaint to the manager about our lack of food, he went away to investigate, and then sent a waitress back to try and explain the situation. Wow. Only go here if you have all day to wait! This place looks like it has everything going for it - great decor, tasty menu, hipster barristers. But falls down in one simple but fundamental area - service. We waited for a table for 30mins, despite there being some available, because they had had to shut the kictchen due to the long waits for food! Following this we decided to just get a smoothie to go.
