The food was cooked to perfection
Once again we had the Brochette of Angus Eye Fillet. Wow, it was spectacular, tender, tasty and arriving at the table was a a show stopper. Our guests were thrilled…. We all loved our choices of sides which accompanied the brochette too.
Went first time on a Thursday night obviously quieter but food and presentation was spot on. But disappointed went last Friday it was crazy busy had the same meal (barramundi) and it looks like it was thrown on a plate of mashed potato . Bit of a let down that due to being busy presentation fell dramatically . Fine dining is all about presentation
Dined on Tuesday evening 8/4/25 at 7pm. Waitress was not very friendly, couldnt order half a dozen oysters only 5 or 10 also couldnt order the wings as a main serve for one of my children that didnt really like anything else on the menu. The steak my wife had was over cooked, i ordered the Tbone sharing steak and was asked who i would be sharing it with, i ordered this for myself. The steak was tough and lacked flavour. This place used to be great... but lately the food has taken a huge nose dive. The stakes where barely passable. The fries should have been the first warning. They came out soggy and miserable. I complained the waiter and he promptly took them back to the kitchen only for the cooks to refry the exact same fries again... Double fried fries are just disgusting for a $14 side dish. We normally head to Cavs Steakhouse when we are in need of a good steak. This time we thought we would give you guys a try. Booking was easy Venue was Loverly Service was great Starters (garlic bread) was sensational However Mains were less than impressive! My wife’s steak 200 g eye fillet was average, looked like a strange end cut, Crispy polenta was cold and the slaw was underwhelming. My steak 250g Rib Eye was disappointing to say the least- MB5+ ?? Need to be popped down a few pegs as they have recently deleted all their google reviews and trying to pretend they are a true 4.8 when its probably more of a 3 star joint when you factor in that no one has any idea whats going on during dinner service. The service is so awfully slow, be prepared to spend 2+ hours here. They served raw food after waiting hours for it and then not offered a refund and instead insisted we wait for the meal to be made again..

Pretty disappointed to be honest. Sunday lunch took a long time to be delivered. The menu was unimaginative and the barramundi was either old or frozen. The location is great however and staff were polite and efficient.
Service was good Felt everything was over cooked with oil The ribs were over cooked The barramundi was tasteless & overcooked So the Chef should review his technique!! We will not be returning Hope this helps
