RecommendedA quick early dinner after a wedding. The bar guys were awesome. We ordered food at the bar. They said take a seat in the bar or outside. After we did 2 unsuccessful laps looking for a place to sit, they noticed and told us they would open the restaurant rooms upstairs but we had to be done by 6 because that's then it opens. Absolutely awesome customer service. The food was just as good. I actually took the time to thank the bar staff in person afterwards.

RecommendedGood food, barramundi and fillet steak, with a decent choice of real ale. Lacking the refinements of a restaurant but we were ok with that as the bill reflected the value for money.

RecommendedThe Hero of Waterloo is a great way to spend some time in and the music is brilliant with Valda probably Australia's oldest performer at 90 years of age in Australia's oldest pub . She has been singing & playing there for 39 years . The food is the best and can be eaten in the cosy restaurant or in the bar area
