Avoid please! It was a tremendous amount of pain dealing with them, following are some issues we had with our transaction: 1. Lack of communication: Very hard to get hold of your solicitor. You will end up spending a lot of time in following up through emails, calls and sms. Their response times are very slow. (Apps Legal sms automated system is a joke.) 2. Frankie has been very easy to deal with, she is extremely knowledgeable and she applies that knowledge in a skillful way that puts us, the client, at ease quickly. She was very respectful and understanding when advising Gail and I, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have had Frankie act for us. She is an excellent representative of the Coronis brand.
The Contract of Sale was subject to GST W/Holding obligations, but the election to apply the Margin Scheme was not included in the special conditions on Contract of Sale. This was not clarified by Megan Stone at the time of completing the contract when asked by the Real estate agent, an oversight by us all it seems. Megan confirmed she would give the buyer GST w/h Notice as part of the settlement process, which was not acted on at settlement. Thus no GST was withheld at settlement.
