Summit deleted my previous negative comment. a sign of the poor ethics of this organisation. Their agent was less than transparent offering information to my ex-wife that he kept from me, whilst representing us both in an attempt to sell the family home. When I uncovered this and approached him and the agency's principal neither could admit their wrongdoing and instead tried to downplay it. Never any admission of wrongdoing. If you are looking for unethical agents who lie to sellers, buyers and tenants- then Look no further.
I have found Graeme Docker and Summit to be unworthy of their professional fees. Graeme is the strata manager of a complex that I own a unit in. I requested a copy of the by-laws for the complex via email and was told that there would be a $77 fee, payable up front, and I would get the email within 48 hours of payment. In follow up emails when I asked him why there was a charge, he said it he would have to search for it. In a subsequent email he admitted that he did have a copy on file. But I would still need to pay the $77... read more
I would not recommend entrusting your property into the hands of the property management there. The quality of communication was poor. When there were issues to be rectified they were not dealt with in a timely manner or appropriately and as a landlord entrusting the condition of your property into a property managers care and paying fees for their service, you would expect a level of care and professionalism that was seriously lacking.
If you have the option to rent through any other company I would recommend you try them first. Rent through summit only as a last resort before being homeless. Keep everything, read everything and don’t become complacent. Just a pack of wombats.
AVOID at all costs!!!! Appauling, unprofessional Service!
The most incompetent property managers in the South West. Our house is in shambles after 3-1/2 years under the care of your property management. When we complained about it we were given the cold shoulder and treated rudely and unfairly. We're now spending much time and many dollars cleaning up and repairing our damaged house. Clean up your act Summit Realty!
