Finding the right hairdresser is always difficult. When I moved to Cairns I struggled to find a hairdresser that gave me a consistent colour and cut. I eventually called a former hairdresser from Melbourne and said you used to live in Cairns, you have got to suggest someone for me. And he simply said go to Suede. Now I know that I have allergies and need hair colour that I will not react to and I have met a lot of hairdressers that struggle with my fine, wavy hair. I ducked into Myer briefly after I left the salon today, and the retail assistant immediately commented on how much she loved the colour of my hair, what a beautiful tone of blonde it was, and asked me to pass on her praise to the person responsible - that’s all you, DJ! Absolutely love DJ and Nicki. 10 yrs ago i moved to cairns and basically hair salon hopped in search of someone that could cut my hair to my satisifaction.
