I read all these amazing reviews and think how lucky all these people were. When my experience was complete opposite. With some big items broken, boxes packed without any care. Furniture delivered and they had been paid to do pack up and unpack yet had to wait 6 stressful days and way to many phone calls and broken promises to have job completed. Extremely disappointed in my experience so fingers crossed your experience is better
One bedroom apartment moved from Brisbane to Melbourne. The delivery was late by 4 days, although we had specifically agreed on Monday 1/11 upon payment. I slept on the couch with nothing but minimal belongings from my suitcase. A box was missing from my delivery (Dell monitor in original box unopened) which the driver promised to check on and deliver the following day. Never happened. They started avoiding my calls. Very misleading. READ All of your contracts, do not sign anything if you have questions and do not take their word for it cause they screw you over.
Terrible service and price
failed to take furniture as arranged...added on another load which obviously used our space and to detour to that added load had our furniture being unloaded in the dark, and ridiculous hours those lovely hardworking boys did....sure against work place safety to expect them to do what they had to do!!....now we have to make other arrangements for the few things left behind... very unimpressed and legal discussions in actiom
I used ready movers in early July to move my house contents to storage. I have a list of issues including where they parked the truck illegally; their inability to gauge, after seeing my contents, whether the storage size I had booked would be sufficient; needing to do 2 trips, not 1 and as a grand finale when I returned to my property to do a final check, finding a dirty toilet bowl courtesy of one of the guys. The guys on the day were great, fast efficient and helpful. The issues i have had came after the move, two pictures were damaged and despite calling every week i still don’t have them back 6 weeks later. Our fridge was also damaged and cant be repaired and we have only just come to an agreement on compensation which is not enough to purchase a new fridge.
