Platypus Dental is our new dentist, and I’m so glad we have found them. Unfortunately I have needed quite a bit of work doing and have been seeing Dr Sam Chan for all of the work. He has been really wonderful with me and listens to what you say. He takes great care to make everything pain free and strives for perfection in everything he does. My 2-year-old daughter went for a check-up. Dr. Terry clearly explained the entire process and answered all my questions. Both Dr. Terry and the dental assistant Shizuno, made sure my daughter was comfortable throughout the visit. In the end, she was very happy and proud of herself. I highly recommend Platypus Dental!
What an awesome experience I had at this dentist! I was booked in with Sam to get a tooth removed. I felt very relaxed and he was calm, patient and understanding. He didn’t make me feel judged but rather tackled the problem at hand. He talked me through the whole process and it was pain free. He done the job very quickly and it was just an awesome experience overall. Highly recommend!
Dr Sam Chan is an absolute godsend! So so glad to have finally found a dentist who is incredibly knowledgeable whilst also being able to provide a level of comfort and ease for someone who has incredibly sensitive teeth that often causes immense pain any time they are worked on. I do not recommend Platypus Dental. We had a disappointing experience with both my child’s and my wife’s treatments. I took my child for a check-up and filling, but the gap made by the dentist was too large. As a result, the filling has fallen out four times in just six months. This has made it difficult to maintain proper oral hygiene and has been extremely frustrating. My wife’s treatment also did not go well.
