No frills It would have been great to have a mirror above the sink in the room and hook behind the door would have been also as there was nowhere to hang anything Also a bedside light would have made a difference The room was very small If you’re light sensitive you might be disturbed by the hall light coming on as people come and go during the night Still would recommend for a no frills stay in Mudgee The hotel is on a quiet street. Gorgeous character-filled pub Noise from occupants in other room. Walls are a bit thin. Floor boards squeak which can be heard as people moving around but to be expected in old pub with character Location great. Comfortable bed. Great character in building and beautifuly restored

Exceptional
For a short stay - do it! The hot water in the bathroom needs the bath to be run for 5 minutes before it reaches the showers. There is a sign advising to do this - what a waste! Great for a short stay. Good rooms with comfy beds (and shared bathrooms) above a decent pub. Good value for $100/night.

Good value for money. Outside kerb step was way too high. No ramp. Didn't have breakfast. dinner was good, quick service.
