The work was carried out efficiently and although I am not mechanically knowledgeable I can tell when the car is feeling right and running well. Staff were delightful and helpful. I have just arrived safely in Townsville and the drive went smoothly even in all the very heavy rain north from the Sunshine Coast area. Thank you Lyons Motors. While we lived nearby Brad & Jamie looked after our cars, Dual Fuel, ULP & Diesel, for over 15 years. They are honest and good tradespeople.
I'm not sure how long I've been going to Brad and Jamie but it started when they had the service bay at the servo down the road. I'd just paid one of those franchised mechanics (Auto Leaders) about $800 when in an attempt to solve a whistling noise they replaced the alternator in my 318i BMW claiming it was the bearings, When that didn't fix the noise they wanted to replace a seal at the end of the motor for about $1,200 saying the whistling was air being sucked in through the faulty seal. I have been taking my cars to Brad for over 20 years , Brad and his team always give great and affordable service, honest advice and a laugh at the end of the day. And would take my further cars there as well Would recommend to anyone!
