Moved into a rental property today 16/12/19, very disgusted with the condition of the house. Filthy are the words I’d use but according to the “property manager” there are a few things that need attending too. I sent an email with a multitude of photos attached nearly 2 hours ago & haven’t heard boo from anyone. A short list of what needs to be redone - EVERYTHING.......... states she has a receipt from a professional cleaning company, well that company need to hang their heads in shame... Stella Mclean Extremely incompetent and dreadful written grammar ! After already having finance in place and a house designed to go onto the land we wanted to purchase, we didn’t even get the chance to counter offer against the offer made by people without having any finance in place! The land could have been bought and paid for up to six weeks earlier. I wonder if the owner knows ? Very disappointed and won’t be using Harcourts to purchase land or property in the future

In particular with the resizing of the visitors bay request and guarantees you wanted around it, that after thorough investigation could not be met. Also your verbal offer was well under asking price. When a higher formal offer in writing came in the owner accepted it. Hi Lynda. We are sorry you feel this way, all the terms and conditions of the lease we explained to you at the beginning of the tenancy. Should you wish to discuss the matter further we invite you to call our property management department directly.
Do not rent a property through this company. My partner has just been shafted with her bond. As others have mentioned in their comments, they will hit you with cleaning costs etc that aren’t justified. Their property manager with initials SP is downright hopeless and doesn’t respond to any issues that may come up with the property. I’m not going to settle for this and am seeking advice from a couple of different avenues. AVOID this company at all costs.

Hi Darren. All the terms and conditions of leasing this property have been explained to the tenant in accordance with the REBA Act at the commencement of the Lease. Should any of these conditions not have been met then the appropriate course of action will be taken to protect both tenant and owner. We do not have a record of you being a tenant with us but would welcome any discussions with the tenant.
Harcourts - possibly the worst experiences of my life, all smiles and couldn't do enough until there was a problem. Then despite me fighting cancer they have and are still making things as difficult for me as possible by refusing to assist me in any way to obtain justice. In short their answer to the problem is " seek legal advice " !! Followed up with " Thomas we will not be your witness " . I was led to believe this company would look out for me and my family. Stay away from Harcourts Alliance Real Estate in Joondalup. Very dishonest people working there. For those moving interstate do not accept their inspection date if its more than a day or 2 after the day you move out. Harcourts Joondalup will await till you move interstate, claim to have called in cleaners (fake invoice) to clean your house and hit you with a large bill . I will never rent with Harcourts again. Its a shame I still have another 6 months with them. Love the house but unfortunately when my lease is up I am going to search for another property that isn't through Harcourts. Wouldn't mind getting treated like a paying customer.
