A 5 minute job cost us $344! We had a hole in our mains water pipe and it took them 24hrs to get someone here. It wasn't going to be that long waiting when we paid the initial $71 booking call out fee upfront. And they wouldn't give us a fee or estimate over the phone. So we're told the set charge when the guy arrives. We'd prepared and dug all around the pipe leak knowing it just needed 2 cuts so to put a new piece of copper pipe in and crimp together.
