We were left in a bind with a subcontract plumber not available to complete a kitchen re-fit. We were facing days without gas and water. We took the remaining work away from the kitchen re-fit firm and called Dorrington Plumbing. 2 plumbers arrived on time, no fuss or drama, 2 sinks, oven, cooktop and dishwasher fitted, plumbed in and tested. Disappointing experience. I paid $249 for an inspection intended to check the gas appliances after the unit had been vacant for approximately a year, which had been made clear when booking. The gas was not connected, meaning the appliances could not be operationally tested. I was not contacted beforehand to confirm this or given the opportunity to defer the attendance until gas was available.
