Left various new scratches in door insides after repair
I not impressed with this business. As a AAMI preferred repairer I was left disappointed. advised to take my car to one repair location in Booragoon WA to be told that they don’t do aluminium repairs but they would strip and assess the damage. I was asked to collect the car on a Friday as there was a 7 week wait for parts, but then received a call from the other shop in Welshpool on the Monday that they had all the required parts. I did not choose to have my car repaired so the first problem is no choice. While it was AAMI that forced me to use this company, SMART then refused all of my requests for information, citing the insurance company policy. SMART told me to contact the insurance company but that can mean waiting for the phone to be answered. Worse still, the phone is answered from the Phillipines with an accent that leads to misinterpretation on their part and mine. Excellent work on the repair, disappointed in the lack of cleanliness inside the car.
I believe that they broke the front number plate glass and did not tell me.When I discovered it they said they would fix it.My next call told me that Mercedes would fix it for free( for advertising ). This off course is not correct so I paid the 30 dollars .Not a major concern but not quite up to my expectations .
I was given an appointment early in January for my vehicle repair work at SMART Capital Myree. I attended my appointment and was given a completion date. At the time I was asked if I would be prepared to have my work done in late February as they were busy at present and would have it completed in a shorter time frame if I accepted.
