We needed late night refreshment and arrived just before 10.00pm and couldn't believe how busy it was! But, we will be returning, the schnitzel burger and steak sandwich were really tasty and the chips were perfect. The other menu items look good too. service was friendly and efficient - we weren't waiting long. Even though they don't advertise it, if you order hot food you can even have a beer as well. We couldn't resist taking home a cake too...
Every time I drive past I have to stop in and get something. If we're having a party and need cocktail pies and pasties we always order them from here. I love that you can get a pasty and donut at 3.00am from here.

Of course they are well known for their pies and pasties, but you can also get a full meal, sandwich, cake, soup, hot chips. The staff are friendly, the cafe is bright and clean - and you might spot Vili himself pitching in. Make sure you get some extras to take home.
This place is great for a lunch stop - they have they best chicken pies and pasties available in Adelaide, and a huge range of cakes all baked fresh every day. The eclairs are the best. It is always full so you might not find a table to sit down but take away is good and the staff serve you pretty quick even though there always seem to be people at the counter.
