Vili's is now my local eatery, it literally is around the corner from me. I don't know whether this is a good thing or not for me! I ended up there twice on Saturday! First for lunch time pies, then later in the evening for a sweet treat! Cafe de Vili's is devilish delish!
It was 6:17pm and I could not decide what I wanted to eat tonight for dinner so suddenly pulled into Cafe de Vili's as I was just about to pass and decided to grab a pie and hot chips. There was a little line-up that already had accumulated prior to me arriving and about 5 minutes in still haven't moved, there was a couple of more people behind me in that line up. Was away oversea's for 3 weeks and was craving a good ol' chicken vili's pie! It always hits the spot!! This time I got two to satisfy that craving! ;)
Have been popping in for lunch time vili's cravings quite too often lately but my workmate and I just can't help ourselves. Its nearby to the city and so tasty! It does get really busy though, but whats new?! :)
Awesome chips and gravy!!! My miss 5 loved it the most and was almost ready to lick the bowl haha! I chose a green pepper pie and it was certainly peppery! Just what I wanted. Parking was easy, considering it was a busy lunch time. Beautiful staff who actually care about their customers. It really does show, the staff being a little bit older certainly makes a whole lot of difference!! Well done
Drove allllll the way here for a Vili's fix! Satisfied I was! Looking forward to the Main. North road one opening which is closer to me ;)
I love Vili's pie but I thought I'd have a steak this time - not bad, not bad at all... For a pie joint!! :)
great late night stop for hot chips and gravy! seriously, divine! and the perfect stop to make between the city and glenelg when you've got the munchies!!!
Gave the gluten free orange cake a try and thought it was well baked, good taste and texture but found the glaze a little too strong and zesty for my taste buds. Was a big hit with the rest of my work mates though which was good! Can always count on Vili's for cakes 24/7.
