Stopped by the BRISBANE. Brewing Co tonight after attending another function in west end. Hungry.... I waited at kitchen counter to place my order. The kitchenhand/cook proceeded to ignored me then eventually announced we were 40 seconds too late to order. (Order = Chips). I had been waiting for minute or two prior to kitchen close. Beer was ok but lack of service won’t have me returning in a hurry.
I'm autistic and was treated very badly by a member of staff because he thought I was drunk. I wasn't- I had only just entered the place and sat down. I was feeling overwhelmed with my head in my hands on the table. He touched me on the shoulder and said I couldn't sleep there. I was very embarrassed and told him I wasn't asleep, but he just kept repeating that over and over. The sweet potato fries were quite soggy and somehow burned a little? Other than that the atmosphere was inviting.....after walking through the smoking area to get in. Hmmmmmmm.
Great ambience and bartender were let down on Sunday evening by overdone squishy sweet potato chips...worst I’ve had... also why should I have to walk through the smokers to get in... yuck!
