I recently used At Call Locksmiths to let me in my house after-hours. They told me it would cost $130 cash. On arrival they stumbled out of the van and introduced themselves to myself and my wife. They were trying to pick my front door lock for more than 15 minutes and couldn't get in. My wife and I thought it would be easier if we left them alone for 5 minutes, on return we found out they got in but they broke the lock to get in. I used At Call recently. This locksmith seems to charge whatever they think they can get away with. My wife was charged for work she didn't even ask for but the staff on the phone to the onsite tradesman insisted that we be charged for it to their tradesman. Even the tradesman didn't want to charge us but they had to. I feel that they take advantage of female customers who are not quiet sure what is and what isn't required. Had someone from At Call Locksmiths come over to my house in Caringbah for changing of locks. Did whole house within a hour which was excellent but new keys did not work in all of the locks. Had some locks replaced which wasn't installed correctly and to top it off the cost was outrageous! I had the cheapest locks installed at a hefty price and it lasted me about a month until they broke on me which I had to get another company to come and replace the locks with good Lockwood locks and charged cheaper than what the bad locks... read more

Had an attempted break in so called these guys as I had used them before. Couldn't get a quote upfront as was not sure what lock would fit the door. Had at call locksmiths come around when only my wife was home. Basically they installed a deadlatch ($60 from Bunnings) and charged us over $400 for 1 hours work!!! I My wife didn't understand so paid them unknown to me. The next day I called up to get a quote to have the same job done somewhere else and was told it would be maximum $240.
