I had an infected tooth. I was very grateful to get in on a cancellation. I was crazy sore & just wanted it out, but was advised of my options. Sometimes thinking is not clear when you are in so much pain, it was a distressing moment. Had overseeing doctor pip in to give second opinion. Ended up prepping for a root canal which has cleared the throbbing pain in my face. Just feels like I've done a round with Mike Tyson this morning my jaw is that sore. I have a fear of dentists which I explained to the attending dentist, Dr Tsu Jie Ng, on my first appointment. This time I had to have a loose and infected tooth removed. On each of the three appointments i have had recently he has explained everything to me and has been both supportive and reassuring.Â
