The waiting room at Young St Medical Clinic is spacious and very comfortable, making it easier to relax while waiting. The clinic also has a nice, clean toilet, which is convenient, especially for longer visits. Another plus is its location right next to the chemist, which makes it super easy to pick up any prescriptions right after your appointment. If I could give 0 stars l would. Absolutely appalled with this place. Every single appointment I’m expected to wait minimum 45 minutes and that’s Standard no apology, no regard for anyone’s time. For the first time ever I was running 10 minutes late for my appointment. I tried to call the practice yet was waiting for nearly 20 minutes by the time they answer the phone. I have a great GP here that's managed my medications and referrals, however the phone system is horrendous; waiting up to 30 minutes to talk to a receptionist (for the most part lovely) which ends up with me losing out on my appointment if I'm too sick or unable to do a physical appointment. This clinic has improved a lot since being taken over by another company but someone needs to either hire more receptionists or fix their system.

I booked online the night before my appointment. I arrived at the medical centre to be greeted by a very nice young lady at reception, who took all my details to confirm on the system due to me being a new patient not being from Frankston, and was asked to wait in the very clean waiting area. Soon after my doctor came and got me for my consultation which went very well. Dr Sharma is a fantastic GP. I’ve been seeing him for a while now. He is always professional, caring and attentive. He takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and genuinely care about my wellbeing. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate doctor.
