Always a delightful experience - friendly, helpful, cheerful reception staff- there are no silly questions. My regular GP, Dr. Ayo- a calming, engaging, genuinely compassionate human being.
The waiting room at Young St Medical Clinic is spacious and very comfortable, making it easier to relax while waiting. The clinic also has a nice, clean toilet, which is convenient, especially for longer visits. Another plus is its location right next to the chemist, which makes it super easy to pick up any prescriptions right after your appointment. If I could give 0 stars l would. Absolutely appalled with this place. Every single appointment I’m expected to wait minimum 45 minutes and that’s Standard no apology, no regard for anyone’s time. For the first time ever I was running 10 minutes late for my appointment. I tried to call the practice yet was waiting for nearly 20 minutes by the time they answer the phone. The receptionist that was at the desk when I arrived was very friendly, and the doctor I had my consultation with was really lovely very professional and easy to talk to. And kept asking me if I had any more questions for him. I think his name sounds like Faraih something like that and I asked hi I wanted to get a full body check up like thyroid, high blood pressure, diabetes and he filled out the form and gave it to me. Young Street Medical and Dental is amazing - The staff were friendly, knowledgeable very helpful, excellent communication - especially with all the questions I had. The doctors are also very friendly, kind and caring. If your looking for a medical centre that has pretty much everything you need under one roof - I can highly recommend Young Street
