I’m deeply saddened that Dr. Nancy Wong is leaving Wyoming Medical Centre. Having visited many doctors on the Central Coast, I can confidently say she is one of the few who genuinely prioritizes accurate diagnosis and patient care. I had a deeply disappointing experience at Wyoming Medical & Dental Care that has severely impacted my trust in their services. On March 17, 2025, I visited the center for a travel vaccination consultation for my baby, as we are preparing for an overseas trip. On the same day, I received a notification from Centrelink stating that my baby’s 18-month vaccination was due, even though she had already received it on February 24, 2025. Very happy with the service and quality of doctors here. As for wait times, it varies with each doctor and their schedule. I do believe that if you expect to be bulk billed, or get an urgent booking you should expect a wait of anywhere from 30min to 2 hours. If it's that Important, feel free to visit Gosford hospital ED and at least double that time. Doctors train for 6 to 12 years so let's show some respect. Awful experience. I waited 2 days for my appointment with Dr L Aung. When I booked over the phone I wasn’t told it was a 10 minute appointment and I had a a couple of issues to discuss. However, irregardless of that it was the zero care factor of the GP - absolutely appalling. I think he made eye contact with me maybe twice for the 16 mins I was in there - I felt like I was in a cattle line up and he looked bored witless.
