A positive experience so far! Booked a 4x4 camper from Broome to be returned in Perth. On arrival we were told that the vehicle we were due to rent was not mechanically sound after a previous rental. We received a free upgraded vehicle instead which was definitely a bonus. Check in was clear and concise. The chap on duty was very pleasant to deal with. We drove from Broome to Melbourne in 2 months in the delica D5 4wd. The guy in Broome was super friendly and helpful. The car was rather new and thus lovely to drive and live in. However, the road assistance was not always helpful, e.g., the car key didn't open the car and they didn't care. On the hand, when the awning fell down, they quickly arranged a mechanic close by. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the car. We would rent the same car again, but might book an external road assistance (RAC).
We recently hired a 4WD camper with two rooftop tents, and while our trip itself was wonderful, the experience with the vehicle left a lot to be desired. The staff member at the Broome depot was friendly, but we were surprised to receive nothing more than a quick “any questions?” when handed the keys. Given this was a complex vehicle setup—and not one we’d used before—we expected a proper rundown of how to use everything safely and correctly. We had a great experience with Wicked Campers Broome. The car got us across the Gibb River Road for a beautiful holiday. The car included all camping gear we needed, so meant we really didn't have to organise much other than the car rental. The 2 rooftop tents were comfortable and easy to set up. Fridge and solar panel both worked well and there was plenty of room for storage in the tray. Great and stress free holiday.
We had a great time in our van! Drives great and it was wonderful to have a reliable vehicle💛 Comes with all the basics you need for camping and even had a sink! We had a great time and staff was lovely
