My partner and I had an awesome holiday, we flew in from cairns and picked up our van and went traveling out to the Bunya mountains and surroundings areas. It was an adventurer we would definitely do again, the only thing I would like next time is cup holders in the van.
LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS!!! Here is a chronological order of everything that went wrong on our 7 DAY trip with wicked campers. - when we went to pick the car up at 9am the aircon was broken this took 5 hours to fix and due to their rules of not driving at night we lost a whole day of travel - power steering issues. We loved our two-week roadtrip from Melbourne to Brisbane with our Mistery Machine. It is loved by kids and adults. People waved at us when passing us, kids yelled: “We love scooby doo!” 😂It was sooo fun! I am so happy we got a Mistery Machine for our Aussie adventure!
WORST VANS & SERVICE EVER. I know that this is a budget car rental service, but the price does not reflect the quality. We paid significantly too much for what we got. Toyota Estima 2004 (Aventus 2) with 340 000km !!!!!!! Here's the story: Day 1: we arrived a Sunday out of hours ( we paid the 100$ fee to be able to pick up the car and get out of hours support). I was overall pretty happy with my rental from Wicked Campers. Picking up the car and returning it was easy and straightforward. The car itself worked reliably the whole time, so no complaints there. It’s definitely not the most comfortable car, though, and you can really tell it’s been used a lot — especially with the scribbles and marks inside, which don’t exactly add to the “feel-good” vibe.
