The team at Want a Heat Pump were excellent from start to finish. Extremely quick turn around from making enquiry to having the unit installed. Quality work and respectful trades. I would highly recommend, time will tell on the performance of the the hydrotherm system. However easy setup and great app to be able to control the operating time to optimize solar system. What I like is you can turn the system on and off remotely so great if going on holidays or for a property that isn't occupied regularly.
Replaced a gas boosted solar hot water system with the Aquatech X6. Install was scheduled quickly and good communication from initial quote to finish. Bit of rain on the day, but install team was friendly and did a great job, very clean. Cheers
Excellent Product. The plumbing work on my Heat Pump Installation though was short of my expectations. The Plumber cut the pipes coming from my house too short. Meaning any leaks in the future would be more difficult and expensive to fix. He also used crimp fittings one of which is now leaking. Instead of traditional fittings or silver solder. These may be common practice but I don't believe best practice. An Excellent product tarnished by short term thinking.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Want a Heat Pump had our new hwc up and running within a week. They were great to deal with and the installers did a very nice job. The Aquatech x 6 is up and working very well. Seems to be hardly drawing any power. Very happy!
It's only a day into the installation of my large Hydrotherm Heat Pump Hot Water system. I've installed the Software app on my phone already. The system is working fine after 24 hours. The installation was quick and painless over a few hours. Excellent communication of when the installers would come and the area was left clean as they found it. The old Rheem gas unit has now gone. I just hope the system lasts a long time and works flawlessly. I'm expecting and hoping for big savings on gas converting to the heat exch... read more
